Payment

West End Model Centre is pleased to accept the following cards:  Visa, Mastercard< Delta, Switch via Paypal

Currency

All sales are in £ Sterling.  Outside of the UK the actual cost to you will be in £ Sterling, converted by your card provider to your local currency on the day your card is charged.

Delivery 

Delivery is sent by Royal Mail or Parcel Force and we aim to post the product to you within 3 days from receipt of monies.  For delivery charges please refer to individual items when the order is placed.  Shipping cost outside the UK is subject to confirmation e-mail from us.

Faulty goods will either be replaced with an identical item, or monies refunded in full on receipt back of the faulty goods, together with return postage fees. Faults must be notified within 24 hours of receipt (Excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays).

West End Model Centre is committed to maintaining and guarding your privacy as a customer.  We may collect information about you during your use of our website to enable us to procress your order and to maintain and improve our service. .  This information can include:

We may also monitor and collect details of your website usage and any e-mails or letters you send to us to enable us to improve our business and supply you with the best possible service.  We may use this information to contact you perioodically, to notify you of any changes to our website or our services, however you will be given the opportunity to refuse any marketing e-mail from us.

Your details will be held securely and on no account will we divulge, sell or otherwise pass on any personal details to a third party.  All information is password protected and the password held and known only by the two proprietors.

MAKING A PURCHASE

Buying a product could not be easier.  Please browse the categories and items, choose and click the item you wish to purchase and place that in the shopping cart.  Repeat this process for any other items you may wish to buy and when you have all that you require click on the Shopping Cart to view your purchases and follow the next instructions with your details.

We accept the major credit and debit cards through PayPal.  All payments must be in pounds sterling.  Should you wish to pay by cheque the items purchased will not be sent until the payment has cleared through our account. 

RETURNS

DEFECTIVE ITEMS:   Should the item bought be defective and is covered under a manufacturer's warranty please return that to us detailing the fault, ensure the item is well packaged and in its original box (if any).  The return of the goods is your responsibility.  If the parcel is lost or stolen West End Model Centre will not be responsible for the cost of the items contained within the package.  If the product is proved to be defective the return postage will be refunded and a replacement product sent to you.  If the same is not available full credit will be given.  All returns should be sent to:  RETURNS DEPARTMENT, West End Model Centre, 113 Albert Road, Colne, Lancashire BB8 0BT.

CANCELLING AN ITEM:  Under United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations, you can cancel the contract made for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery on all our products. (This covers only the items bought from the retail shop, not from our attached workshop where individual bespoke orders of layouts are constructed.)  To cancel the contract please return the goods to us unopened and in perfect condition.  If they are not in a resaleable condition when received back at our shop the return policy cannot be implemented.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING:  All United Kingdom orders will be subject to a postage charge detailed on each product individually.  Multiple item orders will be charged at the actual cost of postage, not individual item charge and will be notified by e-mail prior to posting.  If all goods are not in stock part of the order will be despatched with an overall postage charge at cost and the balance of the goods will be sent when available with no further postal charge added.  For orders outside the UK you will be advised of the cost of the postage by e-mail before we proceed to process the order.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:  If your requested item is not in stock, we will put that on back order.  You will be given the option to canel your order if you would rather not wait.  If an item ordered has sold out you will be contacted and given the option to cancel the order.

TAX CHARGES:  For all orders made from the UK or the European Union 20% VAT is the current charge included in the price quoted.

We will endeavour to ensure that all items listed on our shop site are available for sale or state we have sold out.  We do, however, reserve the right to withdraw from any offer for sale of goods due to non-availability or to errors on our part in pricing or listing any items for sale.
